October 17, 7:00 pm EDT - The Side Door Jazz Hosts Online Release Concert / Listening Session - Ralph Peterson and The Messenger Legacy
Master Drummer, Producer and Bandleader Ralph Peterson presents a special night of music reopening The Side Door for their first live stream concert (NO AUDIENCE) and listening session since the pandemic shut things down in March. Joining RP on the bandstand will be a different horn front line in each of the two sets.
Set 1 will be Phillip Harper (Trpt), Craig Handy (Alto), Bill Pierce (Tnr)
Set 2 will be Sean Jones (Trpt), Robin Eubanks (Trmb), Bill Pierce (Tnr)
Rounding out the rhythm section on both sets will be Essiet Essiet(Bs) and Zaccai Curtis (P).
